truth and lies

am feeling fine now.

im bored. so i decided to do this.
im not bored actually, i have a pile of work to do. am so looking forward to it, right? not.
so excited for rah!

anyways! , was having OG lunch/alpha lunch last week, and was reading sy's 8 days. it's an issue of sherlock holmes thingy and there was a quiz. some IQ-like quiz thingy. then there was this classic question about truth and lies.

there were two tribes, the truth tribe and the lying tribe.
the truth tribe always tell the truth.
the lying tribe always lie.

one day, one man from each tribe (one truth teller, one liar), one is tall one is short, were at the crossroads between their tribes, and a passerby wanted to know who is from which tribe.

so he asked the taller one, "are you telling the truth?"

then the taller one replied, "yes, i always tell the truth"
the shorter one replied, "no! he's from the lying tribe!"














who is from which tribe? who was lying?"

8 days gave the answer that the short one was lying, dont want to explain cause the explanation is warped.
i shall prove them wrong.














this is case one, where the taller one is the truth teller.
that YES, he always tells the truth.

the shorter one is then the LIAR as he lies that the taller one is lying. which is not true.














this is case two, there the taller one is LYING that the tells the truth.
like, "do you tell the truth always?"
the liar says, "yes i tell the truth always"
the truth teller will then say that the taller is lying, WHICH IS THE TRUTH.
so the shorter one is telling the truth and is the truth teller.


so both also can what question is this?!
it just malignes both of the poor souls.
