looking at a few of Andrew's photos from the "epic krabi trip" made me really envious.
i know at least clement and ash are too, they commented on the album. actually, most of the climbers should be really wishing they could just be there. or join the year ones for batu caves again, and the year end trip this year.

but okay, going to batu caves at the end of the year when our skills were better was also good, so we could actually try better routes and 5c routes and not fall.
but it would have been lovely to experience batu caves even though we were still noobs and then go on to someplace, maybe not blue mountains): , to climb, like climb and not experience and try out natural rock for the first time.

one of the best trips/times of my life was the trip to batu caves with the climbers, one of the most enriching experience ever.
then next will come the holiday we'd taken oh so many years ago to melbourne, where it was so cold and so hot there, but it holds so much memories.
sadly, not in my mind but in photos. well. better than nothing.

after so much complaining, i'm just very very happy that i was allowed to go for the trip and above all else, i have this experience that i can safely store away somewhere.
