mooza's excited about her niece, nephew, and grand nephew coming to Singapore to visit. the second generation's overseas for studies, the third generation's a resident there. a baby. and she was telling me how we were going to have a gathering and i was like, " mum! i'm not going! i have exam next week! okay? i'm not excited about seeing some stranger who i don't know at all?"

and she got all, "but they are your relatives! why you so bad, how can you not want to see your own relatives??"

..... because they are strangers to me, i've never seen him (and his parents, my cousins) in my life as far as i can remember, and i kinda have an exam on my hands right now.

if i wanted to see a baby that badly, i'd go to a baby show, thank you.
