side tracking before i even begin, i've gotten so dependent on my computer's memory to remember all my passwords, i've forgotten them all.

came back from vietnam yesterday!
in many ways it was a little similar to china for me- the haphazard streets, run down double/triple storey buildings next to gorgeous modern looking ones, cheap everything, asian people lololol, cold air, and speaking in a language i cannot understand. (lol chinese) (lol i've picked up the damn bad habit of saying lol i'm serious i never used to do that)
i went with the other geographers, whom i didn't realize majority came from the geographical society. which basically meant that they all damn chums la, but they're also all super friendly and damn fun heehee yay shopping buddies too!!!
love the experience cause for one, there were so many physical geographers on the trip, i could just ask like "how did these limestone caves form? stalactites? stalagmites?" yada and they can tell me (so did the tour guide haha), but they also appreciate all the sight and scents that were there. the sounds...... mainly came in the form of BEEP BEEEEEEP.
the road were damn fun to cross.
i'm not even kidding about the fun part.
the weather was freeeezing, okay not really. on the first 2 days we could go without a jacket while shopping. when we went to halong bay, it was argh ice ice ice.
and when we came back it was like 14deg average.
but i still wore slippers throughout hahaha i brought 3 pairs of shoes and a pair of slippers, but i wore slippers throughout except for one day! how waste space):
we went along to do some community tourism where our guides with some really awesome german and spanish, setting up a micro finance / responsible tourism in soc son, a rural + poor district in north hanoi.
i guess i'll do a photo post hahaha i miss viet nam a little, and the fun i had there too.
now that i found out i'm not getting a job, i'm quite sad.
1) i miss working with mummy.
2) NEED the $$.
(which reminds me - gotta pay school fees LKSFHGLCK)
but i'm quite happy too haha
1) i don't really want to work, i wanna read the 4 books i ordered WHICH I THINK GOT LOST wtf it's not here yet
2) the same dept i worked at, it is a terrible terrible place to work.
