wasteful

i only recently realize i come from a low-income family. that is, the standards set by singapore, when a news report came out mentioning (in passing) how this family who earns an average of about $10k/month is middle income. which is true hmm.
so i asked mummy, and she said that we're middle-low income lol. and for a middle-low income family, i'm pretty wasteful.

trying not to think of all the statistics shoved in my face now (if you have money in your wallet, you're among the top 20% richest, if you have food on your table, you're more fortunate than.................... ya let me drop my compassionate side for a while and embrace my narcissism)

what actually led me to think about this is when moo and i went shopping at daiso the other day.
i chanced upon this a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e pink hole puncher.
it wasn't just any other pink, it was the loveliest baby pink shade ^^
thing is, i ALREADY have my own hole puncher. when i didn't need one. and i bought it cause it was pink.
but i held on to it for our whole shopping trip cause it's SOO PRETTTYYY ^^
heeeheeee mummy relented and bought it for me (i would have gotten it myself anyway) BUT I NEVER EXPECTED IT.
hehe then i gave my old pink one away.
my old one was still damn new, like every time i used it, i would keep it back in its box. same goes for this pink hehehe.

i actually momentarily considered this. baby pink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but i have a wonderful ixus now hehe^^
i have NO idea when my obsession with pink started. honestly it's kinda gross, but aiyah whatever.
