hahhaa it was fun but we did it too quickly, soo. we finished fast.
it's some fund raising thing whereby the org sends schools hongbaos to request for donations, so we have to pack hongbaos and letters to parents onto envelopes for different classes, then put all envelopes from the same school into a bag.
there was only one really difficult one where we had 6 levels, each level 6 classes. so 36 envelopes for that school.
i mainly counted out letters to parents from a ream into sets of 10.
so suppose one class has 37 people, so we just take 37 hongbaos and put them in a plastic bag, then into the envelope.
then take 3 sets of 10 letters [ = 30] and 7 loose letters and put it into the envelope.
and do that 36 times.
for one school.
we had 4 - 5 schools.
but the others were easier.
so.
i then went home to sleep.
moo was so sweet, she says i overwork myself and make myself so tired.
aww.
i don't actually.
aaand! she bought me milk!
<3
heeheee.
side note : hearts re-readable books.
which exclude most chick lits.
cause it's so typical.
they meet.
they overcome obstacles.
they fall in love.
they live happily ever after.
okay i have this one book which is a storybook - okay all my books are storybooks. like, fiction story - which doesn't actually seem re-readable, but it's the book i have read the most number of times.
memoirs of a geisha.
some attraction about it.
honestly, i've read twilight / and the series a couple of times too.
but i'm so bored of it now.
i don't even want to read memoirs of a geisha anymore!
every time i pick it up, i go " i already know the story! i know what happens next! "
but i still read it anyway.
i love the last para. it's like one of the best endings ever.
"but now i know that our world is no more permanent than a wave rising on the ocean. whatever our struggles and triumphs, however we may suffer them, all too soon they bleed into a wash, just like watery ink on paper."
take time to digest it.
.
.
.
.
.
i don't have many books actually.
sighs.
anyways isn't it so true.
what was something that you struggled with so hard long ago that doesn't matter now?
