best [or one of the] SPA ever!

add NaOH to _whatzitsname_ (something benz--)
then heat and stir for 20 mins! [boring shooze]
but then you get to add HCl and what some white ppt form, then filter!
obtain the ppt and dissolve it in a conical flask to get a solution, then .......
then......

crystallize it.

i have never done crystallization before this way!
i mean, sure, everyone has done the evaporate to saturation for copper (II) sulphate, and it was gorgeous, but this is.. solution in a conical flask, then put in an ice bath!

then filer to obtain pure crystals, then dry.

then i get my very own gorgeous white crystals which i get to bring home!
and lose in a few days time.
