haven't gotten any books for a damn long while, nor read any new ones. the last one i bought should be something by jodi picoult, and i'm not going to buy her books anymore. i hope.
i love her stories, but i die when i re-read them cause i know the result. so.. not fun.
went to PageOne last friday and got myself 3 books. i don't read those intellectual books, i'm quite.. superficial haha.

in fact, once during an interview (with 3 other intellectual people), they asked if i read and wth! my reply was yes, and i cited roald dahl HAHA. i didn't add in enid blyton at least. noob =.=

i got "the witch of portobello" (self reminder - wiki the contents), "the other boleyn girl" (which my friend lent me before and i thought it was interesting, so.", and "the scarlet letter".

i'm halfway through "the other boleyn girl", and i slotted a postcard midway through the pages as an acting bookmark.

AND YET.

last night after i switch off the laptop, i opened the book to the marked page, the postcard was pushed all the way in, and the page was folded/dog-eared.
i had a horrible shock, like what in the world?!?

i absolutely love my books, and i haven't even unwrapped the other two books for fear of any unwanted accidents. i've wrapped the current book in plastic, and measured out the plastic for the other book.
i try to take care of my books, and now wth it's dog-eared?!
i was so upset i couldn't read more than a few pages.
it's damn ass ugly, i cannot concentrate on the book, it's dog-eared. frigging folded. the page, barely a week old, is...... okay i will not be overly dramatic and say destroyed or ruined. but, scarred.

my maid, oh gosh. seriously the postcard as bookmark is for frigging fun's sake right!

HAHAHAHAHA my elder brother just told me louis used his number to PURCHASE A NINJA SAGA THING ON FACEBOOK HAHAHA.

my elder brother said that he had to ask mummy first, but louis didn't!
$10 just flew into the drain. no it didn't fly. it happily rolled down the friggin drain, filled with facebook games.

oh oh louis just said, "what? $10? they put $5!" yeah yeah it still is so worth it right, for something virtual?
mummy has to pay for these silly things =.= through my elder brother's phone bill.

i remember my elder brother's maple story craze where he bought a huge stack of maple cash. like i don't know, $10 for an amount of i don't know i don't know.
whoaaaaaaaaaaa i heart pain leh, am i the only sensible one? *cough cough*

i want to be there to watch louis get screwed, it's gonna be a sight.
well, not like he'll learn anyways.
