another cheapo victory post since nong ago

i bought this, in dark chocolate, to make cupcakes. 

 and it produced A LOT OF CUPCAKES.

not too bad! i baked kinda cause i wanted to bring cupcakes to my ex-supervisor's farewell dinner, and i couldn't make rainbow cupcakes, so.

wanted this to make rainbow cupcakes! but no cheap cheap one heh.

 

cheapo starts here. this is $7.95 from cold storage.

awesome shit though, better than any cupcake / muffins i made from premix!

i only always use betty crocker, never really dared to venture. all nice, but this is the nicest, in terms of.. ..? texture?

and i don't really like blueberries!

 

this is $2.85!!!!!!! granted this is a much smaller packet, and no real blueberries. 

not my point. it can still make a considerable number of tiny cupcakes.

anddddd i saw it at cheap cheap store for like $1.50 / $1.80!

i bought the this size one, in chocolate chips from $1.50.

SHIOK. okay la cannot really see how much smaller but still. it's almoz twice zee prizze.

 

and this is $6.60 from cold storage. i bought mine at $5.40 from NTUC bukit merah, and i saw it at $4++ at some cheap store! gonna stock up when i go there. have one outlet beside my family doctor's clinic!

i told my mum to bring me along when cheong pretends to get sick, so i can shop at cheap cheap shop.

my mum was at sheng shiong checkout counter when i saw the drinks, one for $0.50, three for $1.00. with a free chocolate bar.

i realized something today.

sometimes, quite rarely but sometimes, i don't mind spending on some expensive to a certain extent things for some people, things that i would never ever take a second look at once i see the price.

hahahaha i'm very very cheapo.

but i don't know why money still leaks out of my bank like there's a hole like that.

sometimes i think it's awkward on birthday's and __ day (valentine's day, mothers' / fathers' day) to show appreciation for someone.

like then you love love so much, then next day back to normal.

like exciting la, get so many nice things. but the plunge back to normalcy is quite........ drastic sometimes.
