list of mods i have taken so far.
cuz i have time to kill till 5pm. where i will begin to do the dishes piling up in the sink SIGH.

Y1S1

GE1101E place, space and society ("geog")
major. went for 2 lectures. liked it, but kinda heavy. learnt both human and physical geog, 2 completely different studies.
SC1101E making sense of society ("soci")
social science exposure.
liked it, did pretty badly for it. went  for about 3 or so lectures. interesting though.
SSA1202/SE1101E southeast asia - a changing region
asian studies exposure meant-to-be but bidded under wrong code.
a few movies in lecture. lectures were kinda interesting, as is for actually most of my mods. had movies, a project.. can't remember my group members' faces anymore. lecture notes can take only 1 piece of paper! (less than 12 slides)
GEK1535 our atmosphere: a chemical perspective
2 lectures a week in science, naturally i ended up not going at all. overlaps geog and chem with minute bits of bio inside. i loved it. mcq mid terms, mcq finals i think. nothing else.
GE2204 cities in transition ("cities")
most adorable lecturer ever (until i go on to later sems) but pretty mundane content. i was okay with it i guess? except for stupid theories.

Y1S2

EL1101E nature of language ("english")
hated it. partly cuz i didn't go for lectures..... and tutorials. guilty as hell cuz my proj group mates completed the proj in the one meeting i couldn't attend.
GE2206 geographies of life and death ("pop geog")
o-kay. not my fave but lecturer's pretty adorable. 
GE2218 leisure, recreation and tourism ("tourism" or "LRT") 
meh. i liked the content kinda but everything else, meh.
GE2220 terrestrial and coastal environments ("T&C") 
most adorable lecturer also hehehe love love love this. attended every single lecture except one when i sprained my ankle. studied hard for it, but uhm, got passable grades. guess i didn't read widely enough.
GE2229 water and the environment ("water")
 lecturer's dead-pan-ly funny. there's integration hidden somewhere in the course which i found out during the finals. skipped the question, naturally. bi-weekly reports were o-kay too.

Y2S2 

LSM1301 general biology ("gen bio" or "bio")
attended 2 lectures. can be a bit hard to follow if you're stupid like me. can bring notes into exam hall, which saved my sorry ass. weekly lab reports for 5 weeks. i'm sorry i ever thought i liked bio. oh i like it fine now that i'm over and done with it.
GE2221 nature and society ("nat soc")
MOST adorable lecturer lol i love geog profs. interesting assignments, though i got meh grades. don't really know what i can do to pull it up though! unlike other mods where you know "i'm missing this perspective" or something. okay i know maybe, but don't know how to do it. probably if you get it then you get it.
GE3237 geographies of migration ("migration")
prof is the dean of FASS, enough reason to do this mod? content is pretty interesting for several topics. exam required us to study only 3 lectures. hell yeah. 
GE3241 geographies of social life ("social life" or "social geog")liked this quite a bit. opened up perspectives on many issues, as it is for nat soc too. lecturer's very sweet too. british accent ^^
XD3103 planet earth
3 profs for 3 different aspects on planet earth.
physics (how the earth came to be and comparison with other planets in the solar system)
chem (what makes up the earth and systems and cycles in the earth)
geology (minerals making up the earth and theories in geology, including geological time scale)
very heavy imo, but also very interesting. my fave was physics, loved it. hated the chem part, skipped it for exams, but it didn't come out anyway.
geology prof wasn't kidding when he said to study past years exam papers carefully, cuz similar and same questions came out.
